1898
Kenyan historical reporting identifies this property on Ndia Kuu Road as Mombasa’s first police station, built under British rule in 1898. It later served as the Nazareth Bar and Ali’s Curio Market.

Fort Jesus
Fort Jesus was built by the Portuguese between 1593 and 1596 to guard Mombasa’s port. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2011.
